Terms

Last updated 1 November 2026

Plain terms for using Timely. By installing or using it, you agree to them.

Using Timely

Timely is a free Chrome extension for tracking projects, milestones and to-dos. You may use it for personal or professional work. You must follow the law and the Chrome Web Store policies.

Your data

Your data is yours. It stays on your device, as described on the Privacy page. You are responsible for backing it up from Settings. Removing the extension or clearing browser data deletes it.

Google Calendar

Connecting Google Calendar is optional. When connected, Timely creates, updates and deletes only the events it made, for to-dos you mark In Calendar. You can disconnect at any time. Google’s own terms apply to your use of Google Calendar.

Acceptable use

Don’t reverse engineer the extension to attack it, use it to break the law, or try to overload Google’s services through it.

No warranty

Timely is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. We don’t promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will never lose data.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost data, missed deadlines, or any indirect or consequential loss from using Timely.

Changes

We may update these terms or the extension. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version. Continuing to use Timely after a change means you accept it.
