Timely keeps your projects and to-dos on your own device. This page explains what it stores, the one optional feature that talks to Google, and how to delete everything.

What Timely stores

Your projects, milestones, to-dos, notes and settings. That is the whole list. There is no account and no sign-up.

What it doesn’t collect

No email, no name, no contacts, no location, no browsing history, and no advertising identifiers. Timely never reads the pages you visit.

Where your data lives

Only in your browser, in Chrome’s local extension storage on your device. Timely has no servers, so nothing is uploaded, and we can’t see your data.

Google Calendar (optional)

Off until you connect it. Once connected, only to-dos you mark In Calendar are sent to Google: title, date, time, repeat rule, notes, and project and milestone names. Sync is one-way. Timely creates, updates and deletes only events it made, and never reads your other events. It asks for a single permission, calendar.events. Timely’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Analytics and tracking

None. No analytics, no telemetry, no cookies, and no third-party code. The only network requests Timely makes are to Google Calendar, and only when you have connected it.

Your choices

Back up everything to a file and restore it from Settings. Disconnect Google Calendar in Settings at any time. To delete all data, remove the extension. Events already created in Google Calendar stay there until you delete them.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects you, the new date appears at the top of this page and the update notes in the Chrome Web Store say so.
